EVENTS OF SZAID IN 2004(4)

Date: December 2004  The design proposal of SZAID logo and emblem is finalized. In October 2004, SZAID started to collect proposals from the design community and received 382 preliminary proposals.  Through review by the expert group and Mr. Chen Shaohua, a senior advisor and well-known graphic designer, the design proposal by Mr. Xu Bin, a young designer from Anhui province, was chosen as our logo and emblem. China red is selected as the standard color in the proposal and symbolizes the designers’passion of patriotism and home loving, the continuous opening door pattern symbolizes the characteristics of the interior design community.  The logo is full of imagination and sense of power, displaying the aggressive and pioneering spirits of interior designers in Shenzhen, the famous city in China’s reform and opening up drive.
